1. make が取れる目的語 (a を伴うもの)

・make an acquisition (=acquire)

→Acquisition. when one business purchases another entire business or part of a business. It is possible to make an acquisition of a whole business, a product line or a brand name.
(買収: ある企業が別の企業全体あるいは一部を買い取ること。企業全体、製品ライン、あるいはブランド名を買い取ることができます。)
