本日は、比ゆ的な意味合いが強い come の用法です。これまで扱ってきた come に比べやや抽象度が高く日本人が使いにくい例を扱います。

(1)「～に至る」「～に達する」の例:

・Thus we come to the last problem- culture. (こうして我々は最後の問題、つまり文化に達する。) Ponderings about Language | Krotscheck.net

・Everything in this world comes to an end, but God never comes to an end.　(この世のものすべてに終わりがある。しかし、神が終焉の時を迎えることはない。)

(2) 「(考えや感情などが) 浮かぶ」の例:
