・An increase of RAM to a size greater than 1 GB will result in increased size of the system files and less space on the hard drive for other applications and files.

→主語の構造は An [increase (Vt)] of [RAM (O)] to a size greater than 1 GB で to increase RAM to a size greater than 1 GB (RAM の容量を 1 GB 強に増加させること) と同義になります。

このように前置詞 1 つでも深い意味と訳し方があることが分かったと思います。この点を踏まえて、より商品性の高い訳文を作成してください。
